Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi
Welcome to India! Upon arrival in New Delhi, an Affordable Luxury Travel representative will meet you at the airport with a placard bearing your name. After completing immigration, baggage claim, and customs, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and adjusting to your new surroundings. Overnight at the hotel in New Delhi.
Day 2: Explore New Delhi
Start your day with breakfast before heading out on a tour of New and Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques, built from red sandstone and marble. Next, explore Chandni Chowk, Asia’s largest wholesale market. Drive past the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. Continue to Humayun's Tomb, a significant precursor to the Taj Mahal, and drive by landmarks including India Gate, Parliament House, Secretariat Buildings, and the Vice Regal Palace. Overnight at the hotel in New Delhi.
Day 3: New Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Agra (approximately 4 hours) in a private car. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Visit Agra Fort, a Mughal citadel renowned for its marble palaces, ornate alcoves, and impressive Islamic architecture. Discover the fort’s rich history and architectural splendor. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur
Wake up early to view the Taj Mahal at sunrise, an iconic monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. After this memorable visit, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check out and drive to Jaipur (approximately 4.5 hours). On arrival, check in at your hotel and unwind. Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, is known for its bustling markets, historic buildings, and rich cultural heritage. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5: Discover Jaipur
Explore the ancient capital of Amber and visit the stunning Amber Fort. On the way, stop for a photo op at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). Continue to the City Palace, a vast complex of palaces, gardens, and courtyards, which houses a fascinating museum with rare manuscripts, armor, costumes, and miniature paintings. Visit Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory known for its precision and historical importance. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur to New Delhi
Enjoy the morning at leisure before checking out of your hotel. Drive back to New Delhi (approximately 5 hours) and check in at your hotel upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and reflecting on your journey. Overnight at the hotel in New Delhi.
Day 7: Departure
In the morning, transfer to the international airport for your flight back home, concluding your memorable tour of India.
